South Wales Walking

Going out there to discover the wonders of South Wales.

North Wales top weather again..!

Once again the weather came up trumps in North Wales.
Saturday was fine with some sunshine as we walked from Caernavon to Bangor on the coastal path. Only downside was the path which only met the coast once and spent a lot of time on roads.
On Sunday it started cloudy but by the time we reached Tryfan the sun was out. Our route took us up to Glyder fach and Glyder Fawr with plenty of scrambling. This turned out to be a long day and we did not get down through the Devils Kitchen till gone 5 and back to the car by 6.45 but what a walk..! Probaly the hardest 7 miles we have ever done.
Our next walk is on April 13th and we have a walk in Brecon.
We will start in Pencelli follow the Usk Valley Walk back to Aber village head up over Carn Pica , Waun Rydd, Gist Wen and Bwlch Main on the return to Pencelli. About 10 miles.
